Nobel Prize winner Dr. Otto Warburg discovered that cells maintain a voltage across their membranes, similar to the voltage of a battery. He found that healthy cells have a measurable voltage of 70-100 millivolts, with heart cells having the highest voltage (up to 90-100 millivolts).
Dr. Warburg found that cellular voltage decreases due to constant stress, which is ubiquitous in today’s society, accompanied by a toxic environment and the aging process. People with chronic diseases and persistent exhaustion subjectively showed a decrease in cellular voltage of 30-50 millivolts. Cancer patients showed the lowest voltage at less than 15-20 millivolts.
Haven’t you ever wondered why there is no heart cancer? The reason is that heart cells have the highest voltage of any cells in the body.
Think about that for a moment!
As you can see, health is literally an energy game at the cellular level. If your cells have energy, you are healthy; if not, the body is susceptible to disease. As the diagram above shows, keeping our cellular voltage in the healthy range can radically extend our lives. That’s why PEMF systems are one of the most compelling and effective anti-aging remedies available today.
Imagine you have a new flashlight and you insert a new battery. You turn on the flashlight and the light is bright. But as the chemical reactions in the battery are converted into electricity, the voltage begins to drop and the light gradually dims. When the battery runs out, so does the light. The same is true of our cells. However, we have rechargeable batteries that can be recharged and turned on again.
One such battery is called transmembrane potential (TMP) or cell voltage. The other battery is adenosine triphosphate (ATP), which stores energy in a phosphate bond. ATP is made in the mitochondria, the powerhouses of the cell, and is a key factor in maintaining our health and energy levels. PEMF application recharges both of these cellular batteries (ATP and TMP).
