Infrared (IR) radiation, also called infrared light, is electromagnetic radiation (EMR) whose wavelengths are longer than those of visible light. Far Infrared (FIR)

Far Infrared (FIR) radiation is an IR subcategory of the electromagnetic spectrum and has been clinically studied for beneficial biological effects, primarily within a wavelength spectrum between approximately 3-12µm (biological window).
In recent years, new technologies and materials have been developed that allow the targeted application of FIR waves to the human body within a very narrow and well-defined frequency spectrum.

State of the art FIR technologies today consist of carbon fiber flat applicators, either embedded in panels (FIR saunas) or as grating layer constructions (whole body applicators). These emit a spectrum of about 3-15μm with an absorption resonance depth of about 50-75mm.

FIR creates a holistic effect from inside to outside (similar to PEMF) = thermal AND a-thermal radiation is absorbed and amplified by vibration and rotation effects at the multimolecular level.

Properties of Far Infrared

Conventional heat sources work from the outside in (thermal effect) and lose their therapeutic effect as soon as they are removed/deactivated. Far Infrared, on the other hand, penetrates the skin and the insulating layers of fat, providing a sustained heat effect from the inside out!
